Hat tip to Raychle for finding this! Cthulhu is the the evil dark god created by horror writer HP Lovecraft. It makes for an odd children’s book.

Too funny! Okay, I guiltily admit to being amused by LOLCat speak as seen on ICanHazCheezburger. Datalounge has a thread entitled Let’s pretend we are LOLcats soliciting sex in an airport bathroom. And hilarity ensues!
NO FAIR! I ARE HETROSEKSHL, NO GAI ARE I!

I think Sen. Larry Craig, yet another Republican figure nabbed for illegal activity of the homosex variety is effectively toast at this point. The American Family Association is even rolling their eyes at his excuses and calling for him to step down. And do you love how theses “conservative” “Christians” sneak in quotes around . . . → Read More: Sen. Larry Craig apparently looks like a dead man walking

Sigh. Here we go again. Republican legislator/official. Check. Vaguely unseemly/illegal cruising behavior. Check! Here’s a thought: maybe they should just hold the 2008 Republican convention at a bathhouse and cut to the chase. Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho now says that he didn’t do anything and he regrets pleading guilty. Translation: Crap! I was rather tired from this past weekend, but I managed to make it through the day. I had a meeting of the United NeoPagan Council of Lake Erie about Pagan Pride Day in less than 2 weeks. It went fairly well. There was some silliness at the end. I feel very good about . . . → Read More: Wiped out today; UNCLE meeting

Oy. Sort of wiped out here. I was at the Pride March/Rally on Saturday, which was okay. I took some face photos. It seemed to go well. I then went and helped Deb with some computer/tech stuff. This was followed by dinner with some of the organizers. I sat near 2 of the political/activist . . . → Read More: A rather overloaded weekend

So, being somewhat resourceful about getting info, I emailed a lawyer friend about the upset tax sale sign. It looks like the parcel in question is a weird bit – it’s 1 foot by 10 feet. It appears that it used to be part of something belonging to G Daniel Baldwin and there must . . . → Read More: Upset tax sale is not enough to get even mildly irked about

This is a very interesting article. In a really weird way, I think it makes me respect her more. It’s probably easier to be extremely devoted to your faith when you strongly feel the presence of the divine. It would have been a very different thing if she hadn’t been so tirelessly devoted to . . . → Read More: Mother Teresa and doubts

I came home from work today, and as it is fairly often the case during summer on a Friday, I mowed the lawn. While I was mowing, I took a look at a sign that had appeared in between my yard and the neighbors fairly recently. I was shocked that it was talking about . . . → Read More: Upset tax sale and conversation with neighbor
