I am really hoping that we get a good turnout for this. The Erie Bloggers are having a potluck picnic tomorrow (Tuesday, July 10) at 7 PM at the shelters by the Erie Zoo on Glenwood Park Ave by W 38th Street. Everyone should bring a dish to pass and their own meat to grill. (Ron was relating about a burger combo involving bacon and a few other things that sounded yummy, but had me thinking about popping some Lipitor. I am just bringing some turkey hot dogs.) I have the totes with all of the table settings and etc from the Pride Picnic, so I will bring those. (OMG! I look organized! I am hoping no one sees through the facade.)
Thus far, we have Tam, who said that she would most likely bring a pasta salad; me, with potato salad from the deli; Joe, who is bringing a dish called New England Baked Beans, "which is like the crystal meth of baked beans.."; Kitten, who is bringing S'mores brownies; Toni, who is hoping to bring a broccoli salad; and Cory, who might bring blog snacks. We are still hearing from folks, and it is perfectly fine for folks to just show up.

I'll bring drinks.
Well, I don't think I can do the Hot Dog Rollup for a couple of reasons. First, I don't want to do the egg stuff there as it'll be freakin' hot. And second, Jon and I are going to test this dish for the first time Saturday, so I'd be a Hot Dog Rollup Virgin, and I might screw it up in front of everyone.
But rest assured if we have another picnic I"ll make one.
