An oddly productive weekend

Although I had 2 social/Pagan things yesterday, I sort of binged on uploading the face photos from the Pride Picnic and some other geek stuff. It was a very odd day, as I sort of felt like a crack addict or something. I felt positively obsessed about figuring some stuff out for the Erie Gay News site, and cleaning up the data. I think I am through most of it.

I was also going through my normal guilt over having no domestic skills. I had a small antiseptic fit last night, and my desk is finally straightened out. My friend James (with much help from Deb) were very helpful today and helped me put up some fencing on one side of the backyard. The problem I have had, for almost 2 years (See? I told you I absolutely suck at maintaining a living space) is that the back patio door was shot and my dog Heracles could leap the fence on one side. My friend Jeff helped me replace the back door just before Christmas last year, but we hadn't quite gotten around to the fence. So we got some green vinyl coated welded wire fencing and fence posts, and I now have a backyard that I can let the dogs out in without having to worry. Of course, tonight the neighbor on the other side seems to be having an outside party, so I haven't gotten a chance to use it much yet. But this means I can just let the dogs out when I wake up, without having to put them on leashes for the backyard. It takes so little to make me happy.
