What a nice night! We had a get together of the Erie Bloggers last night at Pano's Restaurant. It was a smaller turnout than last time, but I think we all had a good time. Lower case ron took photos. It doesn't seem like a Blogger get together unless someone takes a photo of me whipping it out. (My PDA, of course!)
I felt really happy with what Tam posted i the comments on Flickr for this photo:
One of the most important things to me is that folks feel comfortable around each other, and that they feel like they are really connecting. I think that is why I feel so strongly about the Pride Picnic, the Erie Bloggers, Menspace and etc: it means a huge amount to me that people feel that they are with friends. I don't care at all about glitz and glamour. As long as I am hanging with people I enjoy being with, life is good.
Collis also came to the Blogger together for the first time last night, and Jack brought his son, who was visiting from RIT.
Anywho, in a really good mood now.

I think there was something in the water, Sprite, iced tea, tonight because we were all so goofy. But maybe we are all just finally comfortable around each other. We're like a little family now.

I'm tired of missing these! It looks like everyone has such a good time. Hopefully now that the weather is taking a turn for the better (it is, right?) Mike and I can arrange some child care and actually make it to a meet up!
so i went to a weekly poker game at antlers tonight at 7pm (for only the 2nd time) and guess who walks in and is playing as well? none other than collis himself.
Hey Jenny! We hope that you can make it soon as well. Hmm, I am not certain of how to accommodate parents.
That is too funny, ron! I forget if I mentioned that the night after I met Scott, I met his roommate at a different meeting. Erie is so small that we violate the laws of probability on a frequent basis. ;)
