Work was really busy with juggling some conversions and installations. We have 1 food bank due to go live tomorrow. I think I have their conversion set. The registrations for Drenched Fur are going well, I think. I am not sure how it compares with last year, but we are already close to 90. . . . → Read More: A busy day, Drenched Fur going well

I was talking with Dave, one of our hardware techs, at work. We were discussing a client who had a problem. I thought Dave said something about “Ru Paul.” It turns out that I misheard “group policy.” But hey, I think their network would have been MUCH more fabulous if they had a truly . . . → Read More: Network security and drag queens

Yippee! After this morning’s article, I had a very nice phone call from a guy looking to get into blogging. I tried to give him some tips, and I think he might come to next week’s meeting (Tuesday, March 6 at 7 PM at Barbato’s, 1504 W 38th, Erie PA.) As mentioned in the previous post, the photographer was over from the Erie Times News to take my photo for the article about Erie bloggers, so I did a blog entry while she was shooting. Five minutes or so after she left, the phone rang, and my first thought was that the photographer had . . . → Read More: Yet more self-referential blog stuff!

So, I am composing this blog entry while the photographer is here taking my photo for the article about blogging in the Erie Times News. How very self-referential. I am not sure if I will post this mind you, but hopefully the shot will turn out okay. I think that the article will run . . . → Read More: Blogging whilst being photographed

So, Kara Rhodes from the Erie Times News was a busy lady yesterday, as she interviewed Mike and Eden as well as me for the upcoming story about the Erie Bloggers. It hopefully went well. I am hoping I wasn’t too ditzy or too egocentric or creepy. I am a fairly old hand at . . . → Read More: Interview with Erie Times News

I occasionally can dream lucidly. It’s not very often. So, in the dream, I had hooked up with this guy, and we spent the night together. I was apparently living with my family. The next day, we were downstairs watching TV or something in the living room, and my mom and grandfather were also . . . → Read More: Odd semi-lucid dream
