I am doing a bit of work in trying to prepare for the Erie Blogger meetup portal page at ErieBlogs.com. Here is a message I sent to the Flickr and Yahoo groups:
Hey all,I wanted to have a group for just photos taken at Erie Blogger meetups/social events (i.e. organized events that we have scheduled over the past 9 months or so, all of them thus far at Panera's.)
If you have photos from previous get togethers, would you please post them to http://www.flickr.com/groups/eriebloggermeetups/, so that we can have 1 central location.
I wasn't sure how to handle the old Erie Bloggers in the Wild Flickr group (which I haven't done much with), so maybe we can keep that for people who identify as Erie Bloggers, but which may or may not be photos from events.
Anywho, any help in getting the photos up to date.
To follow up, we had a nice chat with 2 of the guys from ErieBlogs.com, and they are working on a portal page for the Erie Blogger meetups. I am guessing that when that is up and running, we will probably get away from using the Yahoo group. The portal page will hopefully also have a feed of photos from the Erie Blogger Meetups Flickr group.
