Yesterday, myself and a few others met with Mike and Richard from Erieblogs.com about adding a portal to their site for Erie Blogger social group stuff. We are thinking that we might handle calendar stuff with upcoming.org, which I recently started using for publicly listed below events. (Note the block in the sidebar on my blog.) We are also considering maybe using Drupal for some of the other areas. Mike and Richard were extremely helpful, and seemed to have the best possible motivation for helping out: building community. Very much looking forward to how things develop.
