I am so proud of a friend of mine! I got a call from a friend who had previously contacted me about co-workers harassing someone who was transitioning from male to female. My friend went to the person in HR and said that this was making them (both my friend and the person whois transitioning) uncomfortable and that it needed to stop. And it has indeed stopped. By just saying a few words and not wimping out, my friend stood up for the dignity of someone. Nifty to the max!!!
So, the next time I witness something like this, I want to be as strong and decent as my friend.
