Well, naturally folks ran with the typo. Media is the spelling that they doubtless intended, whereas Medea (ending in EA) was the wife of Jason who ended up killing their kids to get back at Jason when he dumped her. (I think she was a priestess of Hecate, which is my dog's name.)
Someone posted as Cassandra that she "foresaw this long ago!"
I posted as Erie PA Guy:

A poster posing as Sally Field as hecuba (Medea's mom) got mock-huffy with:

I say we forcibly eject Cassandra and her mother Hecuba from this thread. Let's Priam out of here with a crowbar!Then let's pick up a pack of Trojans. And reminisce about the last time we saw Paris.
And shut up about the damn horse already, Cassandra! I am sure that everything will be fine. Stop waving that memo about "Odysseus determined to attack inside Troy" as the king is on vacation at his ranch.
