Wow! Hardly a surprise. Sen. George Allen, who made the recent remarks referring to an Indian-American as a “macaca” (derogatory French term for dark-skinned people, and yup he and his mother both speak French, so claiming ignorance doesn’t cut it) has ties to a racist organization.
Apparently a fondness for confederate flags and . . . → Read More: Allen’s racist ties revealed

I participate occasionally in an online discussion group for Pagans. (Actually, Gardnerian Wiccans to be precise.) I should probably mention that many Pagans may take the name of a deity for their craft name. Because of doing the newsletter, and lots of communication stuff, I settled on Hermes years ago. Groan! The Whack Job is at it again. The Franklin School District is trying to implement a diversity curriculum with materials from the Southern Poverty Law Center. Diane Gramley has her pearls firmly clutched over the possibility that they might allude to gay folks not being despicable. Caution! Whoever is maintaining the site has abysmal web design skills. . . . → Read More: Diane “Whack Job” Gramley trolls for news on Erie Gay News

I was wrestling was some computer stuff for the Drenched Fur web site, but it’s basically okay now. I’m still wrestling with problems with CiviCRM 1.5 beta, but it’s nothing too major at this point. Several of us went to the Hookah Café last Wednesday. It was a pretty good turnout. I just hasn’t . . . → Read More: Quiet weekend, Hookah Cafe last Wednesday

Why does it not surprise me at all to hear this about the current resident of the White House? Bush seems to be easily the intellectual equal of oatmeal.
The Boston Herald interviewed Washington Whispers’ Paul Bedard about President Bush’s love of flatulence jokes. Apparently, the commander-in-chief “canÂ’t get enough of fart jokes. . . . → Read More: Bush Flatulence humor

I was visiting Dylan and Selkie on Friday and Olwen and Taliesin were there as well. Taliesin is also a gay guy. When Taliesin and I were moving the day bed from the living room to the dining room to make room for having ritual, Dylan pointed out which direction it should face, which . . . → Read More: Amusing remark from get together
