Seriously cool! At the recent MTV awards, Jake Gyllenal won for best performance in Brokeback Mountain, and also won for Best Kiss with co-star Heath Ledger. (And yeah, the kising and intimacy were beautiful, hot and uplifting.)
This was chosen by votes by fans. I am smiling right now because it feels hopeful for the eventual direction. Yeah, we have a lot of prejudice in the world and a Republican Party in power that only knows to trot out gays to bash when it's close to elections, but it's the dying gasp of bigots. Eventually, truth, justice and love prevail!
