We expect that the next print edition will come out on Tuesday, February 21. We distribute the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of the month. (It should normally be in the range of the 20th through the 26 of the month.) <o:p></o:p>If you are writing an article for Erie Gay News, please try to keep it to 500 words or less; we generally try to have most articles be a page or less. (250 words is a half-page, which is also a good length.) If you are part of a group or organization that would like to either march as a parade unit or have a table at the Erie Pride Parade and Rally on Saturday, August 27, the deadline to confirm is the same deadline as for the next print edition: Monday, August 15. T-shirts start at just $15.<o:p></o:p>March with the LGBT Community in the Millcreek 4th of July Parade<o:p></o:p>For the 6th year in a row, there will be an LGBT contingent marching in the Millcreek 4th of July Parade. We had an all-time record last year of folks representing a variety of groups, as well as individuals. If you would like to march with us, please email me by June 18th. We submit a short description and will list the groups marching with us to the parade organizers. Everyone is welcome to march with us even if they are not affiliated with a group. We are only asking for the names of the group, so that we can be announced at the end of the parade.<o:p></o:p><o:p> </o:p>Separate from the Millcreek 4th of July parade, the Pride march/Rally will be Saturday, August 27.<o:p></o:p>Deadline for issue cover dated July 2011 is this Monday, June 13. Release date is Tuesday, June 21.  <o:p></o:p>Please send in calendar events, news items, and other info for late June, 2011 and beyond by this Monday, June 13. We expect that the next print edition will come out on Tuesday, June 21. We will now be distributing on the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of the month. The coalition of groups and individuals that is putting on the Pride Picnic on June 11, and also the March/Rally on August 27 is getting together a T-shirt that will list donors on the back, so you have a unique opportunity to show your support and also get the word out about your business or group on T-shirts that will be worn and displayed throughout the summer. However, the deadline to be included on the shirts is next Sunday, May 15, so we need to hear from you soon!
